Projection cluster
Deconstructed slide projectors, condenser lenses, debris. 2006
Through experimentation in the darkroom with camera-less photography, the work moved the lens out of the enlarger to play with its optical projections as an interface between the light source and photosensitive paper. Projection Cluster spatialised the conditions of the darkroom, situating the viewer at the site of exposure through a deconstructed photographic apparatus.
